Cinestar Zagreb was the venue of the gala premiere of the documentary film “I want life” which depicts the development of the Ana Rukavina. RED Studio in coproduction with the Applaudo Group, filmed a documentary about the establishment and activities of the Ana Rukavina Foundation. 

Along with the help of countless individuals, companies, institutions and political organizations that have united throughout Croatia, as well as all the big-hearted people, the Foundation has worked toward this noble cause to expand the Registry of potential bone marrow donors and establish the public cord blood bank. 

The executive producer of the film was Karlo Mati?, the producer was Bojana Markovi? Krstini?, the technical director was Damir Volari?, the director of photography was Boris Krstini?, the editing and montage was done by Costa Ipsa, and the author of the film was Mirela Krneta.

The premiere was attended by many people from Croatia’s public, political and entertainment scenes, whose continued support helps the further activities of the Foundation. 

After the film the Foundation’s activists were able to raise 7,870 Kuna for tissue typing blood samples from the sales of the Foundation’s promotional materials. The documentary film about the Foundation was also shown on channel 2 on Croatian Television on April 2nd 2009.
